3 Simple Changes

If you are looking to move your yourself and your family away from animal products, then I suggest making these 3 changes.

1st: Change your butter

Buy Earth Balance and I promise that you will never be able to tell the difference.  It has the same texture as butter, spreads like butter and melts like butter.  It’s completely animal free!  It comes in a tub and in sticks.  The great part is that not only can you find this in health food stores, but most grocery stores are carrying it too.

 2nd:  Change your mayonnaise

“Follow Your Heart” Vegenaise is an egg-free mayonnaise that tastes so good that again, no one will be able to tell the difference.  Use it just as you would any other mayo.  This can be found at health food stores, and some grocery stores are starting to carry it.

3rd:  Change your milk

We have switched to Almond Milk in our house.  It was a gradual process, but now we no longer drink cows milk. 

I think I first introduced it to my kids by buying chocolate almond milk.  They loved it.  Then for a while I bought almond milk and cow’s milk.  I would put the almond milk on their cereal and they couldn’t tell the difference.  As time passed I quit buying cow’s milk altogether and they have never said that they miss it. 

Almond milk is free of both saturated fat and cholesterol.  It also contains high levels of a wide range of  necessary vitamins, therefore has a higher nutritional value than cow’s milk.  I have used both of these brands and they’re delicious.





So, the next time you’re at the grocery store why not pick up at least one of these items to try (if not all 3.)
